Game Review: Torchlight 2

Hello everyone!
Here i am, once again, bringing you a new game to review! This time, I will be reviewing Torchlight II!

A bit about the game and developers.
Torchlight II is developed and published by Runic games. I am not 100% sure, but I think that Runic games and Perfect World Entertainment share the publishing of the game. And as guessed, Torchlight II is a sequel to a well known game called Torchlight.

About Gameplay.

Torchlight II is an action rpg game like Diablo. You have a top down view which you can zoom in very much. You move using only your mouse, while you use your keyboard to use some skills, potions, switch between skills and for some other hotkeys.

Torchlight was all about the dungeons. It was a single player game with just couple of dungeons to go through. You were in a town called Torchlight and you had to protect it. In Torchlight II, you are out in the open, fighting your ways through tones of creatures on maps, and then finding couple of dungeons that you need to go through to kill the bosses. Of course, there are few dungeons that do not contain a mission, so you can do them only for fun. And for decent drops!

In Torchlight II there are four different selectable classes: Embermage, Berserker, Outlander and an Engineer. Each class has its own strengths and weaknesses. Tho, in Torchlight II it's all about the damage. No healing. The closest class to being a healer is an engineer.
Embermage is an offensive class with massive destruction powers but very low health.
Berserker is a class which also does massive damage but looks badass while doing so.
Outlander is doing massive critical hits. (That's why I play as an outlander!)
Engineer is more of a tank than a damage dealer.

Another cool thing about Torchlight II is the pet system. While you are making a character, you're also forced (YES, the game forces you!) to make a companion. You are able to chose from couple of pets (8 if i am correct) that will fight alongside you. You can also customize them, but very little bit. Once in game, you can feed the pet with fishes to turn them into some other beasts. Those other pets will then have some skill such as stun, slow, poison damage and so on and on. Though, that just lasts for couple of minutes. Once you chose your pet, you can not change him until you make a new character. If you are extremely lucky, you are able to find a scroll that will transform your pet into something else permanently!

The game is very focused onto the storyline, and that storyline is very long! I've been playing the game for over 12 hours, and I still ain't even close to finishing it. I completed one act out of four of them. Maybe that's because I play solo, but ah well. Luckily, even thought the story is very long and takes very long to complete, the game remains extremely fun to play!

Maps are rather big and not repeatable. Same goes with dungeons. The developers have put a lot of effort into that and made it so much better than how Torchlight was. I really respect that and like it! They also worked on weapons and different equipment. You just can't get bored of searching for new stuff in Torchlight II!

Graphic and Audio
Graphic of Torchlight II is very cartoonish, just how Torchlight was. But I like it! It fits the story and gameplay somehow. Tho, cinematic videos did disappoint me since they are more like comic books than a real video. Other than that, great graphic!
Audio of the game is very good too, but all the songs do sound like a real background music, so after a while you stop even listening to it.

Pros, cons and final grade.
Pros:
- Very fun game, and yet very cheap.
- Weapons are not character class locked, so a mage can have shotguns and so on and on.
- Many different pets to chose from
- Small, but possible character customization.
- The game is not too repeatable.

Cons:
- Sometimes the MultiPlayer does not work so well.
- There is no way to reset your stat points.

Overall grade: 7/10

Great work Runic Games!

Game Review: All Points Bulletin: Reloaded

Oi followers!
Today I will be reviewing a free to play title, called All Points Bulletin: Reloaded. Or APB:Reloaded for short.

A bit about the game and developers.
APB was originally developed and published by  Realtime Worlds back in the 2010. It was a pay to play game by then. You had to pay 15$ a month to be able to play. After two to three months, the game got closed down and Realtime Worlds was finished. After that, GamersFirst bought APB and made APB:Reloaded out of it. It's a fully F2P title with options to buy some stuff in game.

About Gameplay.
APB:Reloaded is a third person shooter game with a sandbox element. Imagine Mafia II, GTA or Saints Row but fully multiplayer! There are two sides in this game, Criminals and Enforcers. When you're about to make a character, you have to chose which side will he / she belong to. You can not change that later. If you want to join the other side, you just need to create a new character and start all over again. To the owners of a higher rank character, that can indeed be a pain in the butt!

APB:Reloaded does not have levels. It has threat level (also called Rank) and a notoriety level. Threat level is gained by ranking up contacts. Players have to chose a contact that they will work for. Once pledged to a certain contact, the player rises that contact's level points. Almost all contacts have 10 levels. As soon as the player rises one contacts level by one, he gets rewards. Each level gives the player different rewards. Players can pledge to a different contact anytime they want, but they can't be in a mission to do so. Notoriety level is much easier to gain and it has only 5 levels. Criminals start at the level 0 and have to advance it to 5. Each level allows the player to get slightly more money from the missions. Once a player reaches level 5, he becomes a "most wanted" person on the server. It will be announced that the person currently has a bounty on his / her head, and the next person who kills him / her gets a nice reward. Notoriety level is always falling down if you aren't doing anything, so it goes back to 0 pretty fast.

To earn new weapons, money, and standing with the contacts, players have to go on a mission. You have to press "K" as a sign that you are ready, which will then allow you to get a random mission. That mission can either be a kill mission, guard, burn, burglary or staying alive mission. It's totally random, and players can't chose if they want or don't want to do the mission. On each mission there is a chance that you get an opposition. The opposition will try to stop you from doing what ever you need to do. It's always better to have mission with an opposition because you earn much more standing and money by having some kills.

Money is an important part of APB:Reloaded because you need it a lot. Unlike the other games, in APB:Reloaded your guns are not permanent. You can buy a gun that will last 10 days. As soon as those 10 days end, the gun will disappear from your inventory and you'll have to get a new one. Different guns have different prices. Cheap guns usually cost about 2k, while the expensive guns can cost over 20 k! You also need to bear in mind that you need to buy bullets for each gun. Bullets are cheap, but they go away very fast so they seem as a waste of money as well. You also need a lot of money to be able to buy cars. Some cars are cheap, the others are very expensive. They can cost even more than 100k! But unlike guns, cars are permanent.

There are a lot of different cars that people can drive in APB:Reloaded. Players can either find a car on the street and take it away from the civilian, or they can buy their own car. The difference is that stealing cars from civilians does not make the car yours. Once you get out of the car, anyone can take it for themselves. While on the other hand, nobody can touch your personal car. Another difference is that you can't customize a civilian's car, while you can customize your own. You can change the car's colors, body kits, sound effect, you can add nitro, some other mods which make your car better and so on and on.

Customization in APB:Reloaded is endless. You can customize every single little bit on your character. You can make the face look same as yours, or you can make some superhero from videogames. I've seen a lot of Spidermans and Dead Pools. around. There are various clothing that you are able to purchase once you've unlocked them from the contacts. Once purchased, you can customize that clothing as well. You can add a lot of signs, tattoos and some pictures all over your body, cars or clothing. Hell, you can even put a skin onto your gun! I am using and urban skin, which gives my guns a kind-of paramilitary look.

There are some limitations though. As every free to play game, there need to be some stuff which you can purchase. In this game, there are premium guns, premium cars, or just premium itself. Premium guns are very Over powered from the normal, free guns but in my opinion that's totally okay. Why? Well because one of those guns costs 20€ for a lifetime license. Why would someone give away 20€ for a weak gun? By premium cars i ment either pre-made cars which are the same as free ones, except they have a pre-made look, pictures, and some mods set up. And there are also body kits for the cars you like. I have, for example, bought two kits and a car. And Premium itself gives the player no big benefits. The player just gets a lot of standing, money, and is able to have much bigger customization options. Unlike Free to play's 3 picture limit, the premium person can add up to 50 pictures per car and character's clothing or tattoos.

Just because a player has premium or premium guns, doesn't mean that he / she is "over powered". As said earlier, Premium does not make the player better. Free to play guns can always win against golden guns (golden guns are the ones you buy with real money). All you need to do is good teamwork and tactics.

Graphic and Audio
Graphically speaking, this game is amazing. It looks kind of realistic, the explosions are beautiful and customization is amazing. Everything about the graphic of this game is amazing.
Audio is awesome too. Great thing about this game's songs is that you can make your own songs in the audio maker. It will require a lot of work, but everyone in the game will be able to hear what you're listening to!

Pros, cons and final grade.
Pros:
- Amazing customization.
- Big two maps.
- A lot of different guns, clothing and cars.
- Ability to make your own songs.

Cons:
- A lot of hackers.
- A lot of sudden FPS drop to 0 (also called "Lag" in this game)

Final grade: 8/10

Extra info: So yea, even though this game is amazing and it has been in my top three games ever since closed beta, it has awful anti-hack support. I'm sure G1 are doing their best to fix that, but it's not working. There are more and more hackers every single days, and even with bans, it doesn't fix anything. But if you forget that, this game is just amazing! I love it and i won't stop playing it for quite a long while!

And a short video that I've made with my clan, just for fun

Game review: Mafia 2.

Hello there dear readers, today I'll be reviewing one great story-based sandbox game called Mafia II!

A bit about the game and developers.
Mafia II was made by a Czech developing company called 2K Czech. They are same guys behind Mafia and Vietcong series.

About Gameplay.
Mafia II is a sandbox third person shooter game. It is, though, heavily focused onto the story. There is no free roam option as in Saints Row or GTA. You are on one mission and you must do it. You can drive around, shoot people and so on and on but you have to do the mission sooner or later.

With that said, it's understandable that the game has amazing story. I won't give out spoilers, but the story is great. It's amazing how a small and not so known country (except when it comes to beers) is able to make so amazing game. Mafia II is one of those games which you want to play two or three times after you finish it! And the story is very long. It took me 12 hours to finally finish it. And I didn't do anything except the missions. I didn't go on even one short drive around.

In Mafia II you can wear as many weapons as you want which make the game slightly unrealistic. That kind of makes me sad because you can have very few bullets (150 for that Tommy gun with a huge round magazine) and it takes you about 2-3 shots to die. The aiming is slightly hard at first because crosshair is not in the middle of the screen. It's actually close to the top so it's very weird. User controls are slightly weird as well. Picking up items and using some items is done with pressing E, while entering and leaving car is done with F. Holding F allows you to lockpick a car, while Q lets you brake the window and steal it. Q is also a stealth kill. The buttons are kind of tricky but you learn them fast so it's not a problem.

Funny thing about this game is that once police reports your look over the radio, you're wanted by everyone. And therefore you need to either hide from every police officer or go to nearest shop and buy a new clothing. There aren't many things to chose from though. The main thing that changes through the shops is the clothing color. But that's about it.

There are various different weapons which you can find or buy. I usually just grab new weapons off my dead enemies, therefore I don't know if you can buy something new in the shop. I suggest you not to be picky with weapons. Pick every weapon you can find, because extra bullets are always welcome. Especially if you're trigger happy and you're using a Tommy gun. Waste of bullets everywhere, hehe.

You can also tune up your car. You can change it's color and so on and on. There aren't many customization options, but the cool thing is that you can write what ever you want on the plate. Each car you steal must be put into your garage or you'll never see it again. Also, if you ruin your car while driving, you'll need to repair it or it will keep looking bad and crushed. I ain't 100% sure about this because it happened to me only once, but I think that even if you store the car into a garage once, and then forget to store it into garage the next time, the car ain't in your garage anymore and you need to find a new one. You can have up to 10 cars in a garage at the moment, and you can take your cars from any garage that you / Joe / your bosses own.

Graphic and Audio
Graphic, for the game from 2009 is amazing. In my opinion, Mafia II is a game that has the best graphic from all modern sandbox games. It even has slightly better graphic than Saints Row The Third.  All the visual effects are nice. Though, car explosions should be bigger. The cars just go "poof" and that's it. Everything else is awesome.
Songs on the radio are the ones from 1940's and slightly later, so you really get the feeling like you're there. But there are only 3 different radios and not many songs, therefore, it gets very repeatable and annoying. But background songs in crucial missions and in cinematics of the game are amazing.

Pros, cons and final grade.
Pros:
- Great graphic and audio.
- Lots of different weapons.
- Decent customization in cars and from clothing shops.
- Amazing story.
- Big map and lots of different cars.

Cons:
- No free roam.
- The game has some video issues on different computers ( lots of weird lights and what not. )
- Too many useless DLCs.

Final Grade: 8/10

Estra info: I  had tones of fun when playing this game, and I really hope that everyone will have it too!

Game Review: Dungeon Defenders.

Hello Readers! Today I'll be reviewing a tower defense game called Dungeon Defenders!

A bit about the game and developers.
Dungeon Defenders was developed and published by an indie company called Trendy Entertainment. They have no other game, just Dungeon Defenders, but they make sure that the game gets a lot of updates and becomes more and more fun!

About Gameplay.
Dungeon Defenders is a first / third person tower defense game. You can zoom out camera to make the game look like a RTS, but that's kind of weird because you can't aim too well. You can also zoom in to the third person or to first person. So this game fits anyone's standards!

In DD you play a hero that you want to play. If you have no DLC's, you can chose from a Monk, Ranger, Warrior or an Apprentice (mage) but if you do have DLC's there's a lot more classes to chose from. My favorite is, yes you've guessed it right, a Jester. I'll be talking about some classes a little bit later. DD is a dungeon defense game with a story! You and the other 3 brave heroes (who are actually the people you play with. There are no NPC's here.) are on a mission to save your parents. To do that you need to go through a lot of various dungeons, bosses and so on and on. And you've guessed it, what's a dungeon based game without levels and equipment? There are various weapons and armors that you can find in chests or by enemy drops. Your weapon look changes to the one that you currently equip, but your look doesn't change by your armor change.

As I said, DD has a level system. Maximal level is 100 and it doesn't take you long to reach it if you know your way around. If you're lucky enough to have an OP friend with level 70 summoner and something like that berserker, you can level up fairy easily.  He power leveled me to the level 56! But I didn't see too much fun in that so we re-created our characters and started beating the game from beginning. In low levels almost any beaten dungeon gives you at least one level, if not even more. Once you level up you need to chose an attribute to give an attribute point to. Each hero has his / her own strengths and weakness. Warrior has great attack power, but his defense units are almost useless, while Apprentice's towers are very needed and reliable, his attack power is very weak. Therefore, for an apprentice you need to level up your tower's damage dealing even more so that you are the best of the best!

You can sell your stuff to earn Mana points, which you can then use to buy stuff in tavern. Stuff as little pets or weapons. Nothing better than what you can get while beating dungeons! You also get Mana by killing monsters. The Mana you get from monsters is used to summon defenses like towers, or traps or auras. Once the new wave starts, all the weapons that you were able to loot get sold and you get Mana into your "bank". If you end up going to a high level dungeon as I have, don't pick everything up that you see. Trust me, you'll regret it later. Just let the game sell stuff so you can get Mana. You can get your own equipment later!

As I've said earlier, there are various types of classes, and all are different. I haven't played many of them so I can't know much. Apprentice can summon tower defenses that shoot fireballs or something else at your opponents, no matter if they fly or walk. Monk is only useful at auras. He can make enemies move slower, and he can make you heal. Warrior is mainly good just at DPS and Ranger is fun at setting up traps, but kind of useless. I like the Ranger though.

Graphic and Audio
Graphic looks very cartoonish. It's unique for its genre, and it's very fun. It really brings the fantasy role playing element into the game. There are not many songs tho, so they do tend to get a bit boring after few hours of listening to them over and over again. But they are catchy, so don't wonder if you end up humming the song when playing another game.

Pros, cons and final grade.
Pros:
- Very fun and addicting.
- A lot of various weapons to chose from.
- Many character classes and different looks.
- Small download file.

Cons:
- Lags may occur in online play.
- No character customization.
- Very many DLC's which make the game cost over 150€ If bought separately

Final grade: 7/10

Extra info: If you've got few friends that you want to play games with, but you don't know what to play, then this game is just for you. This game will kill all the boredom that you have, and make you get addicted to it within first few rounds! Don't play solo tho, the game isn't as enjoyable without friends.

Make easy gold in Guild Wars 2!

Hello my readers!
I have received a fan mail couple of days ago from a very good gold maker in Guild Wars 2. He thought of sharing few of his ways of how to make gold in GW2 easy and I decided to listen to him and add it all to my blog! So here it is, a guest post by Markco!

10 Ways to Make Gold in Guild Wars 2

In Guild Wars 2, there are many common misconceptions that prevent intelligent gamers like yourself from making gold on the Trading Post. In the following collection of posts from my blog, you will find a combination of methods for making gold as well as debunked misconceptions you may be subscribing to already.

Please comment with what you think of these posts here, as well as let me know if they help you to make gold in the future.

Strategies that Will Make You Gold

1. Unidentified Dyes and Gamblers - http://www.guildwars2tradingpost.com/2012/08/selling-unidentified-dyes-why-gamblers.html

It’s easy to overlook one of the simplest and straightforward ways to make gold in this game: selling unidentified dyes instead of identifying them. This will teach you very early on to compare the different ways you can sell an item on the Trading Post.

2. Flipping Guide Basics - http://www.guildwars2tradingpost.com/2012/10/damn-this-is-gold-guide.html

Learn the basics to picking markets, determining profit, buying properly, and selling for maximum return vs time.

3. High Volume Flipping - http://www.guildwars2tradingpost.com/2013/02/post-and-forget-profits.html

Once you have the basics down and a nice pile of gold, you’re probably going to get a little bored of the tedious nature of flipping. This helps take the edge off and earn you more gold in far less time.

4. Crafting for Crafters - http://www.guildwars2tradingpost.com/2013/01/crafting-for-love-of-gold.html

People ask me what to craft and I tell them to look at what every other crafter needs when they want to create finished products. Instead of competing at that level, you can be the middle man who saves them time with crafting materials such as planks, wool, and embroideries.

5. Mystic Forge Runes - http://www.guildwars2tradingpost.com/2013/02/how-to-make-first-100-gold.html

A lot of conspiracy theories surround the Mystic Forge which leads to apprehension towards using it. Never fear, I will showcase a marvelous strategy that can make you big money with the Forge.

6. Flipping Exotics Video - http://www.guildwars2tradingpost.com/2013/01/buying-selling-flipping-exotics-video.html

Watch me deliver a speech with my fancy white board on how to sell Exotics. Hopefully you end up less confused than when you initially began watching!

Misconceptions and Answers

7. You Failing Bro? - http://www.guildwars2tradingpost.com/2013/01/you-failing-bro.html

Many of you will see only failure when items are left unsold. I recommend waiting one week before cancelling any auctions and taking that nasty 5% fee. You can learn from your failures, as this post suggests.

8. Phil’s Breakthrough: What to Sell - http://www.guildwars2tradingpost.com/2013/02/phils-big-breakthrough.html

Phil wrote a great comment which I had to answer with a post. Here’s what I said in response! I think that lots of players can relate to the situation.

9. How to Undercut Properly - http://www.guildwars2tradingpost.com/2013/02/should-you-undercut-highest-buy-order.html

It’s a question I get constantly, so I made a post on how to undercut and why you do it. Whenever you have a huge profit margin and want to make gold faster, use a larger undercut as long as you still make a profit.

10. Secret to Making Gold (+30 Markets) - http://www.guildwars2tradingpost.com/2013/02/whats-secret-to-making-gold.html

I’m currently working on 30 markets and as of this writing I believe I have 16 listed. They should help you find new places to play the flipping or crafting game in.

Game Review: Guild Wars 2

Hello ladies and gents!
Tonight I'll be reviewing Guild Wars 2!

A bit about the game and developers.
Guild Wars 2 has been developed by Arena Net, but has been published by NCsoft. Both of them are rather famous. NCSoft are the guys behind Aion, Guild Wars, Lineage and so on.

About Gameplay.
To start off, I'll say that Guild Wars 2 is an MMORPG. But a bit different MMORPG than any other. Remember how usually MMORPGs have few seconds before making normal attacks or it needs a bit of time to cast some skills? Well in GW2 it's instant! And there is no delay in your basic attack. Everyone attacks like 1 attack per second.  All skills are instant. Sweet and very unique thing about GW2 is that each class has its own set of skills for different types of weapons. For example, when warrior uses greatsword his attacks are Greatsword Swing, Hundred Blades, Whirlwind Attack,  Bladetrail and Rush, while rangers greatsword skills are Slash, Maul, Swoop, Counterattack Hilt and  Bash which include some "spirit animals" appear above you when you use certain skills.

GW2 has four different races and eight different classes, or so called "professions" in this game. GW2 is all about storyline so all the races are friendly to each other. There is no open PvP in this game. Even dueling doesn't exist in this game. The only way to PvP is to either go to PvP island, or to World vs World, which i'll be talking about a bit later.

Questing in GW2 is also a bit different than in any other MMORPG. Your storyline is based on the story that you've developed in your character creation while choosing background. Humans, for example, can chose if they were from a farmer family, royal family or they were raised on streets. If you chose to be raised on the streets, your first part of the storyline is to kill other gang because they want to kill half of the town, queen and so on and on. While if you chose royal family you start off by going to a royal party, where bandits come and ruin everything. Every race, every choice of your background gives you a different story and that makes this game re-playable over and over again. I love that!

Another very interesting thing about GW2 is leveling and XP system. To start with I'll say that everyone in GW2 has their own Loot and xp! Therefore, there is no ninja-ing as in other MMORPGs. Nobody can even see what did you get from loots unless you write it in chat. I think that's awesome! And also, XP is not shared. So if you party up with 5 other people, you will still get the same amount of XP as you would while soloing. In fact, you could even get more XP because you're working in a group! So while in other MMORPG's you pray to God that nobody comes to you and steals your kill,  in this game you will pray to God to get more friends to play with, just so you could level up much faster and have loads of fun while doing so.

In Guild Wars 2, leveling is, in my opinion, hard. Who ever plays GW2 says that leveling is easy, but I don't think so. There is a story quest that you need to follow and there are few side quests which you can do to gain levels. Story quest is, kind of, level restricted so it would be wise to do all side quests. Side quests are marked as hearts on the map and almost all of them are different. Some of them make you kill creatures, others make you feed their animals, while third ones make you drink ale and tell the maker if it's good or not. Very cool thing is Event system. Events, in GW2, are just "events" that happen from time to time. Some may be triggered while the others are just random. Events help you do your side missions, as well as give you bonus XP and money for doing the event! Also, a small thing that I forgot to add: Guild Wars 2 has a level lock system. Which means, If a level 80 comes to a level 5 area, his level will instantly be locked to highest level of that area. 5 in this example. His HP will also lower to the level 5's HP.

Sometimes even side quests and event can't level you up enough to be able to advance your story mission, so the next option is to explore, craft and gather materials. Yep, that's right, you get a lot of XP from exploring, crafting your own equipment and gathering any materials you can find. There are various caves, views and points of interest to discover in GW2, and doing so gives you a very nice amount of XP. Choosing a profession (or a "job" in this game) is also very useful. Not only that it gives you very nice amount of XP for every single object you make, but it also allows you to make better equipment for your character. Or if you are a Cook, you get a lot of useful boosts such as +2 power (on low levels) and a 10% xp boost!

There are two types of PvP in GW2. PvP arena and World vs World (WvW for short). PvP is also separated into two modes: Free tournaments and paid tournaments. In Free tournaments the only thing you need to do to join is to apply. You don't need a pre-set team to join a free tournament, but you can do so. I have tried to set up a free tournament group once but we didn't know how to enter the game together, so we all had to manually join the server. In Paid tournaments you need a team of 5 men (or women). You battle your way up with other teams for a chance to win some nice goodies. If you win it, you get 180 gems which you can use in Black market (official real-money store.) to buy new skins (which are just cool clothing) or more bank slots, bag slots, or you can even upgrade your game to digital deluxe version. Also, in PvP everyone is instantly level 80, and has a good PvP gear. You start as a rank 1 (rank is like a pvp level) and you advance to 80, but rank 1 and rank 80 are totally the same in everything. Equipment is is same in damages and defenses, only the look changes.

WvW is different. In WvW you battle for your server against two other servers. You get into WvW with everything that your character has. In WvW your level does not change, so level 80 will kill level 34 pretty easily. You can also gain levels in WvW. Your goal is to capture some points so your server has bonuses and boosts. Very fun, but extremely hard until you hit 80.

Graphic and Audio
Okay, so, graphically speaking, I got a little bit disappointed. Graphic is awesome but it has a bit too much flashing. That's why I don't like to run the game on full graphic. Sights, on the other hand, are amazing. The land is wonderful, cities, details, everything is just beautiful. The sky is indescribably beautiful. If I could live in a fantasy world, it would definitely look like that. Absolutely amazing.
Audio is very good too! Not even once have i thought about muting the game. Its very enjoyable and calm. And it ain't repeatable. Honestly, I think that the game wouldn't be as fun without the audio in the background.

Pros, cons and final grade.
Pros:
- Amazing and beautiful land.
- Ability to go to other races leveling area.
- Gems can be purchased via in-game money.
- Each storyline is separated.
- You lose no XP for being in a group.
- Community is pretty good.
- Character customization is nothing special but it's nice.
- Almost everything you do gives you XP.
- No monthly fee!

Cons:.
- Money is very hard to acquire in early stages of the game.
- Finding dungeon groups is very hard because there is no dungeon finder option in game.

Final Grade: 10/10

Extra info: If you are new to MMORPG's then Guild Wars 2 is not a choice for you. In Guild Wars 2 you already need to have some experience from other MMORPG's to be able to understand things easier. If you are an old MMORPG player and you're just looking for something fresh, then this game is for you!
P.S. I didn't make too many screenshots just yet, so I'll add them today.

Game review: Terraria

Ladies and Gentleman of the interwebz, today I will be talking a bit about Terraria!

A bit about the game and developers.
Terraria is a "building" 2D platformer game developed by Re-Logic.They don't have any other game than Terraria but they are very friendly to all their fans!

About Gameplay.
Terraria is something a bit different than other games nowadays. Terraria gives you the choice to do nothing else but build stuff and explore the underworld! Before starting anything, I'll tell you that I actually ain't a fan of platformer games. But Terraria is an exception! Terraria is very fun in single player, And I bet It's even more fun when you play with friends. Sadly I decided to do this review as fast as I got my hands on the game, and therefore I wasn't able to enjoy the multiplayer just yet. But I do know that my clan members are very dedicated to this game and have high gears and stuff.

This game, just as Minecraft, has no goal at all. The only goal: Have fun and spend your time well. You can explore rather big world from the very bottom of all the way to the stars. Though there is one pretty big problem. This game has no tutorial and it's very hard to start off without some guidance. There's a "help" NPC nearby, but he's kind of useless. Once you get your things ready, and you think that you're ready to go underground, do so! Take your pickaxe and just keep digging down until you find a tunnel. Once you find it, make sure to brake anything that looks breakable, such as vases or chests. You can brake the chests with hammers once you make sure that everything is out of it.

Finding chests can be quite exiting! I know that I got very thrilled once I found my spear in it! I also got some kind of accessory that gives me some defense. Very nice loot indeed. Keep in mind though, you are not alone! You have enemies over day and night. Over day, your most feared enemy is a small slime. There are three shapes that i've seen so far, red, blue and green. Green is weakest, then red and then blue. They also come in different sizes. Underneath the ground you can find blue glowing squids. They never managed to hit me so I don't know how big damage do they have, but they are rather annoying!

While, on the other hand, more creatures come out at night! Creatures such as flying eyes, some kind of "soul eaters" and zombies. And a lot of them! Dieing in this game is not so big of a problem though. You respawn with everything you had on yourself, but you lose some money. In my opinion you don't need any money, you just need luck in "dungeons". I'm sure that there are more dangerous monsters somewhere in this game, but I still never came across them. I do know that there is a chance for you to find a portal that will lead you to some other world!

Graphic and Audio
Graphic is.. Very pixelish. But that does not make this game anyhow bad! In fact, it makes the game rather interesting. It's something new. Old school but new. Colors are very bright and some animations are very nice, therefore, I really like the graphic of this game. I only heard two different songs in this game, but they are both so catchy that I love both of them! I can't help it but to "sing" along with them.

 Pros, cons and final grade.
Pros:
- Nice big world to explore.
- Something different and rather unique.
- Very small requirements for something so fun and catchy!
- You can host your own personal server and have as many people on it as you want!
- A lot of different equipment and weapons which you can forge, buy, or find!
- Finding wings will allow you to fly!
- Shooting stars fall on the ground and if you find them, you can use them as a throwing weapon.

Cons:
- Very hard to start off the game due to lack of tutorial.
- People might rage if they keep dieing in their first night.

Overall grade: 7/10

Extra Info: If you're looking for something that you will be playing for a very long time, and you really want to play it with your best friends, then Terraria is definitely for you! I can't wait for my clan mates to finally finish their exams so we can play together! If you're looking for cheaper version of Minecraft then look no more! Terraria is just the game for you! I can't get enough of it!
Deeply recomended!

P.S. I'm making a gameplay video of Terraria which should be up in couple of days!

Game Review: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Hello everybody!
Here I am with one of worlds most popular games again, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim!

A bit about the game and developers.
Skyrim was made by one of those top known companies on Earth, called Bethesda Softworks. They are the same guys behind all other The Elder Scrolls games, as well as the upcoming hit MMORPG which i will only buy if it will not have monthly fee: Elder Scrolls Online!

About Gameplay.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, or Skyrim for short, is a role playing game which puts all those WoW and any other MMORPG elements into one beautiful single player game. There are hundreds, probably even thousands of quests which you can complete in Skyrim. Some give you money, some give you items, some give you fame. They also sometimes give you all three of those. There are various missions such as: Protect a guy while he is going from one city to the other, or find the lost treasure which might or might not be in a cave, kill a dragon in a nearby village, slaughter bandit camp, hunt down vampires or some other very fun missions.

Great thing about Skyrim is that there are no classes. You can be anything that you desire. You can be a mage with heavy armor. Or a gladiator with robes so you could move faster. Literally anything you want! There are also a lot of professions that you can chose from like Blacksmithing and alchemy. Blacksmithing allows you to build some weapons which can not be built in game, while alchemy allows you to make various potions and enchants on your weapon, allowing you to make the most powerful equipment in the whole game.

There is one main quest and tones of other quests. You can also join a guild that will give you some benefits such as cheaper items in shops, they will also allow you to buy some items which can't be bought by normal merchants and so on and on. There are various guilds such as Thief guild, The Comapnions, mercenary guild, mages guild, The Dark Brotherhood (assassins) and so on and on.

There are various armors, robes and leather equipment for you to use. There are also various weapons such as bow and arrow (with a lot of different types of bows and arrows), swords, warhammers, maces, staffs... There are also combinations such as dual wielding swords, or sword in one hand and an axe in the other. Enchants also make your equipment much stronger, giving you some boosts as 15 more protection from heavy armors, or "Upon hit you deal shock damage" or something else. Since you can enchant your own equipment, there are also various combinations you can use as well.

Character customization is pretty amazing but nothing that would go into the depth of a character as some other F2P games such as Tera or APB: Reloaded. There are also various of different races to chose from. All races give you some boosts. Also, choosing a race is also important for some quests because some NPC's might like you more if you're a Nord, while other would like you more if you were an imperial.

Combat system in this game is pretty sweet. You need to aim above the target with bow and arrow because arrows fall after a while. Some magic skills require some time to get casted, others are instant. Melee weapons allow you to do few different attacks, depending on how you do them. If you move your mouse to the right or left while holding the attack button, your character will do a slash attack, while if you move your mouse up, your character will do a slice attack which also does massive damage to all enemies right in front of you.

Graphic and Audio
Graphic in Skyrim is amazing. There are wonderful sights to see, wonderful mountains, flowers, trees. All the NPCs look stunning, and so do animals. Well wolves are kind of disappointment to me but everything else is just wonderful. And the sky takes my breath away, no mater if it's day or night.
And songs are amazing. But then again, all Elder scrolls songs are amazing. Once you hear them, you can't stop listening and humming them all
 day long. Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin!

Story

There are a lot of different quests in this game, and the story is pretty amazing so i will not say anything about it. This is one of those games which should never be spoiled!

 Pros, cons and final grade.
Pros:
- Nice customization.
-Wonderful graphic and audio
- Massive sandbox world, full of various creatures and places.
- Saving a village from a dragon, the village people will remember your fame.

Cons:
- A lot of bugs which are not important.

Overall grade: 10/10

Game review: Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013

Hello there my followers and readers! Today I'll be writing about something kind of new. Something that I've never wrote about. A card game!

Yep, that's right! I'll be reviewing Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013. I know It's kind of weird for me to jump from FPS games and RPG games to card games, but what can I say? If i get a chance to review, I'll do so!

A bit about the game and developers.
MGT:Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 is actually a game based on a real life strategy card game called, yes you've guessed it, Magic The Gathering. It was made by Stainless Games but It's being published by Wizards of the Coast. They are the original owner of MTG card game, and of Dungeon and Dragons board game. So yea, they are pretty famous.

About Gameplay.
MTG: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 is a card game in which you have to beat certain campaign enemies to unlock new decks. You can always pay with real money, but I think that beating campaign bosses is always much more fun! Gameplay of this game is pretty simple - pick a card you want and woala, you do it until you lose or win the game. And therefore, I'll talk a bit more about game's features and explain the game a bit more for those who do not know it.

So, MTG is based on 5 colors which are called mana. Blue, Green, Red, Black and White. All of them have their own strengths and weakness. Everyone should pick a mana that would go with their play style the best. My girl, for example, chose blue and white combination because she loves strong creatures and great defense, while i chose green and black because i love numerous, big creatures and dark spells that allow me to re-summon my fallen creatures. So you chose the play style you want!

In MTG:DotP 2013 you can't build your own deck which is good on one hand, and bad on the other. Good - everyone is the same. Bad - it, in my opinion, gets very boring after a while. You can always get more expansions (DLC's) to get more decks as I have, but once again, it still gets kind of boring after a while.

To unlock a deck you first need to beat campaigns. That can be a bit tricky because some bosses are very tough to beat and you need to have a lot of luck in your cards and you gotta think of a good strategy at the same moment. Once you unlock a deck, you need to use it often to be able to unlock all cards in it. Each deck starts with 60 cards, but you can unlock 30 more by beating either campaigns with it, or playing online with friends.

Multiplayer has three different game modes. Two-headed giant, Free for All and Planeschase. In Two-headed giant you team up with your friend (girlfriend in my case) and you battle against other two players or two bots. You and your teammate share an amount of 30 HP in stead of normal 20. The same goes for your opponents. This mode is very fun to play.
Free for all is a game mode in which you go 1 vs 1 with the other player.
Planeschase is a very confusing multiplayer game mode. Even I am still not fully sure how it works. There's a pack of cards in the middle of the table. There are 4 people at one game, everyone for themselves. You pick up one card (Planeswalk) and it may either give you a boost to your current turn, it might take your hp or creatures away, or it will simply do nothing. It's all about luck in the little dice that each of the players has to toss.

MTG has five main phases. Upkeep, in which you untap all creatures and mana that you've used in the earlier turn, main phase in which you cast enchants, powerful spells and summon stealthy rogues or gigantic wolves. After main phase there is a combat phase in which you chose with which creatures do you want to attack your opponent. Your opponent can then chose if he wants to block your creatures or not. If he wants to, he has to point which creature of his will block which creature that you control. After attack-block phase, there is another main phase in which you can also summon any spells or creatures that you weren't able to, or didn't want to in the first main phase. And then there's the end phase, in which you actually do nothing. In all of this phases, you or your opponent can press "stop timer", which will then stop the current phase and allow you to cast any instant spells that you wanted to.

I can't really teach you how to play MTG over a review, but luckily the tutorial in this game is so good that you will learn everything from it.

Graphic and Audio
Now I can't really say much about graphic since its a card game. Everything you see are cards. But visuals on them are beautiful and that's one of a lot of reasons why i just love Magic The Gathering in general. Songs on the other hand, in this game, is great! Some of the audio might get a bit boring, but most of it is just wonderful and I love to listen to it while i play.

Pros, cons and final grade.
Pros:
- Unique gameplay.
- Beautiful visuals on the cards.
- Very helpful tutorials for those who have yet to learn.
- Various decks to chose from.
- Fun multiplayer gameplay.
- In some games you can see foil cards which add a nice flashing effect to the game.

Cons:
- Some decks can only be gained by buying DLC's.
- Sometimes timer is just too fast, while the other times it's too slow.

Overall grade: 9/10

Extra Info: As a long term Magic the Gathering fan, I suggest you to get this game! If you want to play Magic the gathering, but don't want to spend fortune on Magic Online, or on MTG in real life, then this game is for you. It's very fun and great, and i deeply recommend it!

Also, there's one great shop which offers a lot of collectable cards and items for Magic The Gathering, and for other things! I really like it and I hope that you'll also check it out!
